Meghan Markle is the perfect example of understated beauty, for filming and red carpet shows she needs to wear a lot of makeup, but she’s an expert at a toned down, natural look. Meghan Markle manages her make up to always look on point and today we are a sharing Meghan Markle’s 5 minute beauty routine.
Meghan told Allure that she’s different from her Suits character Rachel, because she’s way more understated, while Rachel is overdone (and shot in HD!) She also does facial massages every so often, swearing that on the days she does them her cheekbones are way more defined.
When it comes to her understated beauty routine, less is definitely more. She calls her routine the five-minute face, and prefers to let her skin shine through.
“My routine is very simple—I call it the five-minute face. It’s just Touche Éclat, curled lashes, mascara, Chap Stick, and a little bit of blush. That is my favorite kind of look. If I’m going to amp it up for night, then I use M.A.C. Teddy eyeliner, which is a really beautiful brown that has some gold in it. A makeup artist I work with often, Kayleen McAdams, turned me on to it. It’s what she uses on Sofia Vergara, and who wouldn’t want those gorgeous brown almond eyes?”
She also loves Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance, for achieving that flawless yet radiant complexion. She’ll use Yves St Laurent Babydoll Mascara and a subtle sweep of Clarins HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm on her lips, a dust of Nars blush in Orgasm on her cheeks and occasionally a touch of her favorite shade of Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, Very Victoria.
In total, her daily routine takes a few minutes and is the perfect natural no make-up look!
