1. Strong & edgy
New Year is the time of year where you can be brave and OTT with your makeup, but that doesn’t mean you have to cover yourself with glitter from head to toe. For those of you that like to keep it classical try a strong lip and let it do all the talking for you. Pair this with a bit of dark definiton on your eyes and you’ve nailed the look!

2. Pretty in nude
Nude has been a big trend this year and so many makeup brands are bringing out their own versions. And if you’re obsessed with it then this is the look you should go for it for NYE. If you don’t like an overpowering lip then this is the one for you. Blend with some lighter shades with your eyeshadow, keeping it light and creamy and add a a white liner to your bottom lash to make your eyes look bigger and more enticing!

3. Rocker chic
We all party on NYE even if it’s just a little bit. And when it comes to our makeup some of us like to take a little inspo from Kate Moss! Go bold with the eyes (gold colors work really well) and don’t be afraid to do the unusual, because, in true Kate Moss style, it works! Mix in golds and browns for your eyeshadow using your darker color for your underline and pair it with a light gloss on your lips!

4. A touch of sparkle
Some of us, including me, like to get a little glittery this time of year. For me, it’s the one time of year I can really do it and get away with it (regarding festivals of course). 5. The classic
One of my favorites; the classic red lip. As long as you have one your look is undoubtedly strong and sexy! However, be careful not to do too much with your eyes, you want to keep them as light as possible. Even if you are to do a wing, keep it simple and lessen your mascara. You’ll be leading with your lips… not that there’s anything wrong with that!
