We all want to master that perfect pout in time for the holidays, so why not start early and treat yourself to a lip kit?
Our love of ‘lip kits’ started with the elusive Kylie Jenner and her signature set, which had more and more of us reaching for our lipsticks and liners. But she’s not the only makeup mogul with a lip kit on the shelves. Here are a few of our favorite lip kits so far!
1. Charlotte Tilbury The Sophisticate Lip Kit.
Of course the Queen of Lipsticks, Charlotte Tilbury would be featured on our list. This kit is the new nude, and perfectly seasonal. It includes a K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick, Lip Cheat pencil, and a Lip Lustre Gloss. This is perfect if you’re looking for something a little more sophisticated, with a high color payoff and a long-wearing finish. Not as playful as some other lip sets, but definitely timeless, and in the perfect shade! Available here
2. Too Faced Merry Kissmas The Ultimate Liquified Lipsticks Set.
We’re obsessed with the gorgeous finish of Too Faced Melted lip products anyway, so what better than putting them in a Christmas themed kit? Perfect gift for ourselves?! They’re in adorable shades and have a matte finish, so make a great alternative to Kylie Jenner’s kits if you haven’t managed to get your hands on them yet. Excuse me while I head to Sephora.
Why we love it: With a variety of colors there is really something for everything, but one of the best thing about this kit is that the shades are so unassuming. 3. Marc Jacobs Beauty The (Nude)ist Collection.
Marc Jacobs has done it again. This kit contains two small nude lipsticks and a longwear lip pencil. Nude lips have been made cool again thanks to Kylie’s kits, but the best thing about this kit is that the lip pencil is infused with collagen and the lipstick is hydrating, cushioning and has a vanilla scent. This is the secret to the perfect pout!
Why we love it: Firstly the colors are amazing, subtle nudes that can be worn anywhere. The consistency of the lipsticks is really smooth, so you can build the coverage up with multiple applications, and unlike other nude lipsticks it doesn’t stick to parts of your lip. Available here
4. L’Oreal Smoking Nudes By Kristina Bazan Lip Kit.
If you’re looking for a richer nude color that’s highly pigmented and won’t bleed, this is the kit for you. The color is described as ‘smoking nude’ but it’s just a little warmer than other creamy nude colors, and the handy duo means that application is easier than ever!
Why we love it: This is the ultimate sexy shade, a smokey smooth nude that when combined with the lip pencil and slightly overlining your lips, creates an incredible pout. The pencil is super precise so you won’t have any bleeding, but the color alone sold it to us. Available here
5. Tarte Tarteist Lip Kit
.Besides nude, the color of the season is mauve, so tarte’s lip kit is completely on trend and ticking all our boxes. The creamy matte lip paint gives full coverage color and has a moussey texture, while the liner blends smoothly into the color. Best thing, it doesn’t dry out or bleed!

The luxuriously matte yet soft finish of velvet is something that’s usually hard to get on your lips, but most lip kits at the moment are really delivering. This one contains four beautiful shades for legendary lips.
Why we love it: Firstly, these are Burberry’s best shades. You can wear each one for a different party, and not have to worry that they’re breaking up. 8. stila Naturally Nude Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set
If you’re loving the nude trend but want a bit of variation with your shades, these three stila shades start with a peachy pink and end in a more coffee-esque shade. They last for up to six hours and also contain vitamin E and avocado oil.
Why we love it: If you love nude lips, you’ll love this. They’re liquid lipsticks that dry matte and are full coverage, so no part of your lip color will wear off during the day.
