How To Deal With Dull Skin And Under Eye Circles In Less Than 30 Minutes

DSC_0427

Lately, I have been waking up with these huge dark circles under my eyes. It must be because of the winter season and the lack of sleep I’m getting. Unfortunately, more sleep is not even an option. As I already sleep 6/7 hours per day and try to have a lay in during the weekend. So in the morning, I have some steps to make it look like I’m actually a well rested ‘Career Girl’.

Gel mask for your under eye circles:  after my shower I splash some cold water in my face to really wake me up. Next I’ll take my Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks and stick them under my eyes for 15  minutes. I keep them on while I have breakfast and put my clothes on. When I take them off, I feel most of the damage is gone.

Choose a product that stimulates collagen production: Lately, I have been using Get Up & Glow from Oskia and this product is amazing! In the morning if my skin is particularly dull it gives my  skin a natural and sheer glow and it’s full of ingredients that will benefit your skin in the long term.

Embrace the ‘no makeup look’: So lately, I’ve been loving the ‘no makeup’ makeup look. Trust me, I love a great Kardashian contour from time to time. But at the moment, I’m embracing the natural look. Especially, when we’re busy, we just don’t have time to cake on all that makeup. A fave of mine to create this look is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. It’s a tinted moisturizer that evens out your skin tone and it really gives you a glowy and dewy complexion. So perfect for when you’re extremely tired, have had 4 hours sleep and want to prevent people from asking you if you’re ok or sick.

More coverage needed? Perricone MD has the most amazing ‘No Makeup Skincare’. My favorite is the No Foundation Foundation Serum. It’s basically a light-coverage foundation that actually restores your skin’s natural health and inner radiance. Perfect for the days you want more coverage but still want to apply something to your skin that is nourishing

Pamper your skin while you sleep: A product that’s in my stash and I tend to forget but is an amazing overnight treatment is Ren’s Nighttime Facial. Basically, just slather this on your face before going to bed and you will wake up with better-looking skin. So less visible dark circles under your eyes, less fine lines and a dewy complexion.

Make sure you know the basics: I drink lots of water and green tea. I use this detoxing face mask every Sunday, which I think really makes a difference and I try to avoid too much sugar and meat. I’m not saying everyone should become vegan, but I am really playing with this idea lately and would love to experience the effects on my body, skin and overall health (any girls with tips?).

This is how I tackle my dark circles and dull skin this winter. What do you girls do? Any product recommendations? Share them with me in the comments below as I would love to know your tips.

I love eye masks to brighten up my dark circles. To combat puffiness I also keep 2 spoons in the freezer. Loved these tips x
