We’re all busy Career Girls here, we can confess that mornings never look the way we portray them on Instagram. That’s why this advert is life.

If you’re a pro at beating the sun at rising, check your work emails before even getting out of bed and worship dry shampoo, then you’ll relate to this hilarious video. Even though it’s selling a breakfast, it’s pretty relatable. Most of us don’t even make our beds, doesn’t make us any less of a career girl, though!

I know there’s plenty of ways to help speed up a morning routine, but even then I don’t understand how anyone has time for a workout or preparing a breakfast that takes any longer than 5 minutes; unless they get up at 4/5am? I can just about pour some cereal and milk into a bowl without completely missing the bowl and then spend the next 5 minutes mopping it all up. True story. Goodbye to the extra precious 5 minutes I need to quickly shove my dishevelled hair into a messy bun. F@!#!!

I think the media needs to get with the 21^st century, a lot of women now go to work – and a lot less stay at home. Instead of targeting women with what they wish their mornings could be like in dream land, be like this ad and come back down to earth.
