Six Books You Need To Add To Your Reading List Right Now

Sometimes you need to slow life down, blow the dust off your bookshelf and get back into the adventure. After a busy day, all you want to do is go to bed, not embark on a new adventure. Don’t forget that life is all about adventure, though. Think about it, you might have work tomorrow, but if you pick the right book, you’ll be on your way to a new world tonight!

A Book You Won’t Be Able To Put Down:

This is my all time favorite crime fiction book. It’s the sixth book in the series by Lisa Gardner, so if you want to get stuck into a series, I promise you will love this. Forgotten women are disappearing, and there’s only one lead. Full of twists and turns, this book (and in fact the whole series!) is perfect. We recommend you start with book one and work your way through them! Buy it here.

A Life-Changing Self-Help Book:

I’m always apprehensive when it comes to self-help books. But this one is really life-changing, Derren examines the most commonly suggested routes to happiness and success and exposes how they cause more anxiety. In this book, Derren unravels what it really means to be happy, and how we can truly attain it. Buy it here.

A Book That Started On Instagram:

If you haven’t read this already, you must. Rupi writes a truly, beautiful book that touches women all over the world. It takes readers on a journey through some of life’s cruelest moments but shows light at the end of the tunnel. Originally published to Instagram, Milk and Honey took off so fast that it has found itself a seat on NY’s best-seller list! Buy it here.

A Beautifully Written Book:

This book very quickly made it into one of my favorites. The writing style can only be described as beautiful. Following three women from three different decades, the narrative speaks an elegant truth you cannot help but relate to. The winner of the 1999 Pulitzer Prize and Pen Falkner prize takes its inspiration from the life and work of Virginia Woolf. Buy it here.

A Book That Will Make You Cry:

Jack and his mother live in Room, and it’s all he knows. It’s home. But to his mother, it’s the prison they’ve both lived in for years. Probably best to have the tissues at the ready for this one. Buy it here.

A Book That Will Make You Laugh Out Loud:

When you want to hear a girly voice, and someone who understands you then this book is the perfect tool you need to be uplifted. Through the telling of some personal stories, Amy offers some real life advice, knowing when to be funny and when to be serious. This book is full of advice to live by. Buy it here.
