How To Stay Ahead Of Stress Before It Hits You

As an adult, there are lots of things to be stressed about, and it can have a huge negative impact on your professional and personal life. The most common worries include money, work, and children. But instead of getting stressed, why not try and prepare for it? Here are some tips on staying ahead of your stress and hopefully removing it from your life.

1. Plan Ahead
Preparing simple strategies to combat different outcomes can reduce the risk of stress and make you feel at ease no matter what life throws at you.

2.Focus on your breathing
Put those yoga classes to good use and take some deep breaths when you feel the stress coming.

3. Exercise 
A wise woman once said, “exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy and happy people don’t shoot their husbands.” So take a leaf out of Elle Woods’ book and hit the gym. You’ll feel instantly calmer after a run on the treadmill we promise.

4. Focus on the positives
Try not to think about the bad, and push forward with the good! Use positive words such as ‘can’ and ‘will’ and smile. These positive steps will push you in the right direction to deal with your stress and think about the good things to come your way.
