A Sunday Beauty Routine To Keep Your Skin Flawless

I have the feeling all the girls at CGD HQ take their skincare pretty serious. We are real product junkies and LOVE to try out the latest things. For CGD, we’re always testing the latest beauty products and when we really love a product we can’t wait to share it with you, ladies! As we not only see you as our loving readers but also as our lovely girlfriends with who we share our latest tips and tricks!

Sunday is the perfect day to rest and unwind after a busy week. I can’t really say, I have the day off, but I try to spoil myself a little. I prepare myself a healthy dinner, take the time to do the groceries, watch a movie and after that it’s time to spoil myself. I throw on my favorite bathrobe,  put my hair in a bun and wash my face.  I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove my make up first. After that, I use Sarah Chapman’s Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse together with my Foreo Luna. The Sarah Chapman Cleanser is my absolute favorite cleanser at the moment and together with the Foreo Luna it makes my skin ultra soft and it literally looks like I just had a Micro Dermabrasion treatment as my skin looks all dewy and glowy. The cleanser is mild, contains high performing ingredients like Baobab Oil, Rosehip Oil, Jojoba Oil and other yummy ingredients.

After I’ve washed my face, it’s time for a peeling. At the moment, I’m using Omorovizca’s Copper Peel. A brand I haven’t heard about before, but has become one of my favourite brands lately. The copper peel comes in 2 steps and leaves your skin soft and rejuvenated after 1 use.  It comes in a box with 8 applications, but I figured out you can use the tubes for 1 application at least 3 times. Score!

After the peeling, it’s time for a face mask. This week I decided to go for a Charcoal mask. A deep cleansing peel off mask that contains Charcoal Powder, Bergamot Extract, and Lotus Root Extract. As Charcoal is supposed to be the latest ‘it’ ingredient in beauty world I have to try it. You will look a bit weird right now (just make sure your other half doesn’t see you) but with it’s detoxifying effects it leaves your skin soft and smooth.

I finish my DIY facial and apply Ren’s Wake Wonder Night Time Facial and Colbert MD’s Night cream and get ready to go to bed feeling all clean and relaxed!

I always love reading other blogger’s beauty routines :)

On Sunday nights I always pamper my skin as well. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about the REN facial… I might just have to give it a try!
