How To Be Super Successful On The Internet By Five Famous Bloggers

We often talk about inspiring women here at CGD, from successful CEO’s to fabulous actresses, we know how important it is to be inspired by women and lean on each other for motivation in our careers. Sometimes it helps to hear from women in your own field, so here is some serious inspiration from the super successful women who rock the internet!

1. Franchesca Ramsey

Franchesca Ramsey is a writer, actress and video blogger based in the Big Apple. Her world-famous video, “sh*t white girls say to black girls,” rocketed her to fame back in 2012. Her hilarious yet truthful videos are still hugely popular, her YouTube channel “Chescaleigh” has over 250K subscribers and an incredible 20 million views. Franchesca is passionate about civil rights and racial equality, and shares her views weekly on her website, “franchesca.net,” as well as on upworthy.com, which is a website that discusses political, social, and humanitarian current events. Franchesca is a passionate woman, who made her break by being honest and standing up for what she believes in – something to take in your stride when starting your career too.

2. Gala Darling

Gala is an author, teacher and motivational speaker from New Zealand, who now lives in NYC. After struggling for a long time with her self-image, she overcame her self-loathing and now she is dedicated to helping other women find true happiness within themselves. Gala writes books showing women how beautiful they truly are, and speaking about finding your own voice. Gala has used her own personal struggles and drawn on that to become a career woman of self-love and self-respect. Here we learn that we can all build strength from our weakness, and those flaws we have can only be used to make us more beautiful, inside and out! What a darling (pardon the pun)!

3. Zoe Sugg

Zoe Sugg, known formally as “Zoella,” is a hugely successful blogger, YouTuber, author and fashionista, with over 9 million subscribers! In 2009 Zoe launched her YouTube channel, where she talks about her favourite fashions, makeup and her daily life. She discusses things she loves and is passionate about, and her positive and personal approach to blogging got her a ginormous internet following. Zoe also has her own book published, which sold the most copies in its first week ever for a first-time published author. Zoe is a beautiful, talented woman who has made her career out of doing something she enjoys – when you pursue a job that you love, you will never have to work a day in your life! Take that into account ladies!

4. Laci Green

Laci Green is an American YouTuber, public sex educator and feminist. In 2014, Laci had over 1 million youtube subscribers, and set up her channel in an aim to teach people a way to have a healthy and positive attitude towards sexuality and sex itself. She hosts conferences at universities, the MTV original Youtube channel “Braless,” and produces videos for “Planned Parenthood.” Laci’s message is to get people to be able to discuss sex in a way that “isn’t shameful, awkward or weird.” We love Laci as she says things that many people would be afraid to discuss. In your career, many people will be afraid to share their ideas for fear of failure, but what we can learn from Laci is that many people think the same thing, but are too afraid to share it. NEVER be afraid to share your views, and be the woman who speaks her mind!

5. Grace Helbig

Grace Helbig is a YouTuber, blogger, comedian and talk-show host. Grace began her YouTube channel in 2007, little did she know that in a few years time, Grace would be appearing on the web series MyMusic as the character “Idol,” hosting her own E! TV Show “The Grace Helbig Show,” and boasting over 2 million YouTube subscribers. Grace has also won a multitude of awards, such as “King Of The Internet,” she was named as one of the “Women Under 30 Who Are Changing The World” by Forbes Magazine, and she has been named one of “Hollywood’s Top 25 Digital Stars.” Grace has grabbed every opportunity possible that has come to her, and has made an amazing career out of her best talents. We can learn from Grace that taking every opportunity handed to us can lead us to great things!

  1. The title implies that we’re going to be reading an article with information “BY five different bloggers.” Even your intro says, “inspiration FROM the super successful women …” I usually look forward to articles on this blog but if you guys are going to start misleading me with your words I’m going to stop reading – immediately.

  2. I was reading these and realised that Franchesca & Laci have actually been *really* influential in my learning (or more accurately, unlearning) and I continue to learn so much from them. They are actually my icons. I LOVE THEM!

  3. Great bio overview of 5 successful bloggers, however, the title is very misleading. Am I missing something? Is there more to this post that didn’t get published?
