Watch Chloe Moretz And Other Powerful Women Support Hillary Clinton

The glass ceiling in the USA has broken! Hillary Clinton officially accepted her nomination for president of the United Sates during the last day of the Democratic Convention on Thursday.

Whether you are pro-Hillary or not, I think we can all admit that it was truly an inspiring week in terms of speeches and the fact that a woman finally is running for presidency in the USA.

Many celebrities, from Lena Dunham to Meryl Streep, showed their support to Hillary during the convention and, of course, the powerful speech from Michelle Obama was one of the highlights of the past week.

And just to get you inspired, we have selected 4 of our favorite speeches from the past week.

Chloë Moretz

The beautiful actress encourages millennials to use their right to vote this coming November:

”I’m a Millennial – a member of the largest generation of Americans since the Baby Boom. But nearly four out of five young people stayed home in the 2014 Congressional election. Imagine what can happen if we all make our voices heard at the ballot box this November.”

Lena Dunham & America Ferrera

The joint speech of these 2 actresses was brought with humor, with a very serious undertone.

“Hi. I’m Lena Dunham, and according to Donald Trump, my body is probably, like, a 2.”

“And I’m America Ferrera, and according to Donald Trump, I’m probably a rapist.”

Michelle Obama

The most talked about speech during this convention. Michelle Obama encouraged people to vote for a president that thinks about the future of their children and gives every child an opportunity. Lots of people were moved by her speech and Twitter was begging her to stay in the White House and to run for president herself one day.

Hillary Clinton

The acceptance speech by Hillary Clinton was a powerful one. Our favorite part being:

”Tonight, we’ve reached a milestone in our nation’s march toward a more perfect union: the first time that a major party has nominated a woman for president. Standing here as my mother’s daughter, and my daughter’s mother, I’m so happy this day has come. Happy for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between. Happy for boys and men, too – because when any barrier falls in America, for anyone, it clears the way for everyone. When there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit.”
