I would love to know suggestions for driving traffic! My biggest hurdle is simply getting people to discover it.

  • Charmaine | Architecture Blog

I’d love to know how to promote your blog without sounding annoying and such! Like, the frequency, which channels you guys think are the best, etc. :)

I second this, promotion tips would be great!

      • Endaline

I “third” this as well. Any tidbit will help. I’m starting to annoy my followers with the way I flood their timelines.

  • Bee

I agree with the comments below—driving traffic and engagement is something that I’d love to know more about, beyond just SEO.

  • Tracy

I would love to know more about gaining readers via social media especially using Pinterest to drive traffic

  • Claudia Antonacci

I think one of the hardest things is to find out how to join your interest together with your reader’s one. Sometimes it happens you love writing about a certain topic, but your public isn’t so keen on that. On the other hand, you get suprised by finding you some topics, you just touched superficially, are what drive more traffic to your blog!

  • Michelle

I’d love to know how to get more views and comments. I want my blog to be a community.

    • Chloe’ Skye

      I second this!

  • Laura

Can’t wait for this course! I’d love to know how to find out about regular networking/meet ups if you don’t live in areas other bloggers do. How to navigate the changing insta algorithms and how to get more interaction on your blog when you already interact with others on their platforms.. also how to get a following on twitter and Facebook. Basically just help a girl out :) Laura x

Currently I’m actually pretty happy with the outcome of my blog, I simply don’t know how to get it out there and attract readers. I really want to share what I have to tell the world and don’t know how due to being so new to all of this.

Really looking forward to this course. I would love to learn more about building a loyal readership that keeps coming back to the blog. Are there specific social media platforms that are best for certain types of blogs? Are there groups or networks that we could use? Thank you so much!

I am very excited about the news of the new course. I would like to know everything there is to do to form a blog. Like for example the name, which social network to use, where to get the information, how to make more people see it. Kisses and all the luck!

I would love to learn how to evolv Your blog (aesthetic and content ) without losing your audience.

  • Therese Bradeen

Hi and thanks for tips. New to “The Blog”, but am an independent consultant for skin care and really want key “Vogue” ways to be able to Reach a Targeted audience. So many different ways to attract women, teens with acne, men who are aging; but there is also a CORRECT way. Can’t wait to see what you come up with, as well as all the other suggestions from the gals below. Therese Bradeen

  • Mackenzie Smith

I would love to learn more about SEO, driving website traffic as well as translating Google Analytics. These three elements seem to be the key to achieving a higher number of unique visitors each month – a statistic many brands and reward programs take into consideration when deciding who to collaborate with.

Hi! :-) I want to know when do you feel it is the right moment to start a blog? I know that there is actually no age limit for that, but I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a very long time now and I just keep getting excuses not to start. I live in a very small town, people are sooo judgemental here. I’m 20 and I just feel like I’m still not confident enough for that step. Do you have any advice on building my confidence up just a little so I could fulfil my dream. Thanks!

  • Fefe

My biggest question is how to keep people coming back! Some weeks I’ll have 10k viewers, but they aren’t repeat. I post daily, but struggle with retaining visitors.

  • Mary Lyon

I’m so excited for the course!! I would love to learn your process for researching and building your content. For example, you just had a post about 5 Things Confident People Do Differently. What time did you invest in reading or researching for this post? Or was it just personal experience that you shared? You always have such insightful and informative posts, and I would love to know how to develop that area. I get dozens of blog emails everyday, but yours is one of the only ones I actually click into to read. It’s because you have great content and market it really well!

I would like to know how I could make it so attractive that every reader would love it. It might be useful first of all if I decide the subject…

I’d be really interested in y’alls opinion on how you create your blog. Thats honestly what is holding me back from starting one. I want it to be the best it can be from the beginning and I don’t exactly know how to do that. I often wonder to start building your blog as a brand not just a corner of the internet for creative people. So excited for your blogging course! Will definitely be purchasing it-xx

  • Audra Nicole Koch

definitely a whole section on Pinterest! It already drives half my traffic, and tips on how to make that better would be great!

Hey Bloggers || 3 Incredibly Important Questions to Ask Yourself

  • Lisa // Fjords & Beaches

I’m loving all the suggestions in these comments – and agree with practically all of them! Driving traffic is definitely a big one! For me, social media numbers are constantly rising, but getting people to actually click to my blog and stay there (and more importantly; subscribe to the e-mail list) is the trickiest part! :)

    Lisa // FjordsAndBeaches.com

  • Raya

I think the trickiest part (but the thing that makes all the difference to engagement and traffic!) is creating a tribe. Like Lady Gaga’s ‘little monsters’ and Beyonce’s ‘beehive’ – knowing your audience and making them part of your tribe is what makes them stick around as they feel they belong to a community. How to create a tribe though – that is the question! :)

  • Petronella Risita Achieng

My question would be how to increase your engagement on your blog! At the end of the day you’re writing to an audience and the most reassuring thing is when it impacts just one person :) xx

  • Jodie

How exciting is this?! I’d love to know not just how you find an audience, but how you go about finding the right audience: how do you tailor content to your target audience? Do you have more than one target audience and different posts aimed at each? How do you find the right audience?

    Jodie

  • Olivia

What is the best and most organic way to build traffic through social media? And how often should you use social media to promote blog content?

    Thank you!!

I’d love to see a schedule of how to discipline yourself to work. We work from home but with no one looking over us – we need to see how much time they spend on it e.g.: reserching/ contacting others/ gathering inspiration etc. Specify when bloggers say ‘I work from home’ and I ‘have meetings all day’. The difference between them and us are they have made it but what about when they were starting out?! What exactly and how did they approach their day to day blogging life? :)

  • Michelle Ly

I would love to learn how to simply allow what you love to grow. We all know that the best bloggers are simply doing what they love and it grows into something more. We all have something we love, sometimes too much to keep track of, but how to we allow it to grow naturally into something bigger that can help to inspire and help other people?

  • Selina

I would like to know which blogs or platform you follow to get inspiration :)

  • Ana Chiquita

I will like to know how to reach to a brand if you are just starting out and don’t have a lot of following in Social Media, you are just growing. It’s it possible to do this?

  • Allison Kelley

I am so excited for this workbook course to come out!

    1) I would like to read about tips and tricks to balancing having a successful blog with the rest of life (ex. Having a full time job, going to school, having a social life). I believe balance is key to having a successful blog and life, but how do the all star bloggers do it?

    2) I would also love to read about how staying true to yourself and your aesthetic is important. But, sometimes as a blogger you feel pressured to do what drives traffic or write about what is trending. How do you stay authentic while growing into a super blogger?

I would like to know how to manage a blog that hasn’t got a particular niche. I wouldn’t say that my blog is a “personal blog”, but I do like to talk about many things, and sometimes it can be hard to establish a consistent following, so this is what I want to learn :)

  • Deola Bee

I would love to know how to create an email list and really what to send out, because I wouldn’t like to be spammy and I wouldn’t like to send the exact same post on my blog. Also, how do you balance portraying yourself as a brand on social media and having a personality?

  • Nicky

I would love to know how to find what you want to talk about in your blog. I have one with Blogger but I’ve used it as a diary in the past, then as a planning blog. I would just want to know how to start and how to find your topic for your blog.

  • Marta // The Glow Lab

I would love to know more about the design aspect to keep people engaged with the blog and making them coming back or reading more articles.

    Marta // The Glow Lab

  • Natalie

I would like to learn how to combined all the different topics of my blog under a central theme. I feel like right now it seems to be a mess of different thoughts.

  • Bozena Krzepisz

I would like to know if it’s best to stick to only one subject (i.e. home decor only) or go for multiple subject blog? I find that there is a lot I want to talk about, but I am afraid some of the subjects will not appear to my audience. Is it worth having two separate blogs?
Also I would love to know how long does it take to gain a rather large distinctive following. I know this would be different for every blog, but maybe a story of how Career Girl Daily became what it is now and some tips and experiences from all the contributors.

I would love to know which specific tools you use on the CGD blog (as well as your recommendations for smaller blogs). For example which plugins you use, which host, which content/social scheduling tools, which email marketing platform, etc.

I would like to know how can I make my blog stand out given that there are quite a lot of other blogs in my industry that are very popular, it is difficult to create content that hasn’t yet been covered by these other blogs…

  • ingiliz filiz

I am struggling with SEO and Google Analytics, they are too technical for me! If I can learn the technical side, I think I will take it to the next level.

Also, I have difficulties with setting up Buffer and Mailchimp, they look complicated to me!

  • Ekky M

I would love to know how do you actually figure out what your audience wants to read about on my blog without asking them! And of course, how to drive traffic too :)
