This is a time which, for many fans, feels tragic. The world can become an empty, desolate place where TV screens are off and the static silence can become deafening. All of this devastation and destruction comes from one simple thing; the ending of Game of Thrones.

Piece by piece, the sun will begin to shine again. TV screens and Netflix accounts will burst with vibrant life as new TV shows and old favorites light up the lives of fans everywhere.

If you’re missing your Monday fix of Khaleesi, Cersei, and co, we’ve picked out 5 amazing TV shows to fill the void.

Grey’s Anatomy

If somehow, you aren’t familiar with the devastating but magnificent writing of Shonda Rhimes in this medical drama, you are in luck.

All 12 seasons are on Netflix. This show is marvelous because of the impeccable characters, storylines, and plots developed within every scenario of the show. This show will make you feel every emotion possible.

Based on the book by Stephen King, Jake (James Franco) goes back in time to stop the assassination of JFK, for every action there is a reaction and as he gets more drawn into life in the past – things start to get dark and strange.

Grace and Frankie

On Netflix, this show caught our eye because of its humorous outlook on life. Following two older women, each married to a man, it examines the aftermath when their husbands leave them for each other. When your husband turns out to be gay after decades of marriage, and you’re as sassy, feisty, and crazy as these two women, it makes for some amazing TV.

Orange is the New Black

This show is extremely popular on Netflix right now and for good reasons. Following a group of eclectic and individualistic women in prison, it is one of the most unique and interesting series ever.

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

A hilarious, comedic masterpiece, this show explores the life of a girl who’s spent basically her entire life trapped in an underground bunker. Thrown into the world with no knowledge and the outlook of an 8-year-old, she has many adventures in New York City, but also teaches many a valuable life lesson.

The Walking Dead

With such a huge fanbase and phenomenal storyline, it’s no wonder that this show is such a hit. Dive into the world of the zombie, or ‘walker’, apocalypse, and follow a group of survivors through the new world & the challenges it brings. If you finish all of the seasons, there’s another similar series about the world from a different view-Fear the Walking Dead.
