4. Strange Magic by Syd Moore

While the cover looks a bit scary, this book is actually a new series to get invested in if you loved Harry Potter. It’s a bit of magic for adults, with Rosie Strange inheriting her grandfather’s witchcraft museum in Essex. Of course, along the way she meets a lot of strange characters, and sees things she can’t quite believe.
