Bumble puts the dating power into the hands of the female by allowing the women to start the conversation. “I wanted to do something that would promote a responsible user online,” Wolfe told Business Insider this year. We completely get where you’re going with that girl.

When your favourite hair or skin product stops working whilst you’re on holiday, you need Cast Beauty in your life! Founder Sian Morson has created an app that uses weather data to make product recommendations for all hair and skin types – whatever the weather.

Finally, an app that helps you to make new friends (not that I’ve ever needed to). Whether you’re looking for a new job or a place to live, Hey! VINA empowers you to tap into your extended network and connect with women who can potentially change your life! “Through our adult lives we go a lot of places that our existing friendships don’t always support and it becomes time to expand our circles,” co-founder Olivia June Poole told HNGN.

bSafe was founded by mother of three Silje Vallestad when she realised that there were no custom mobile solutions that served her needs as a parent. The really cool thing about bSafe is that it works for grown adults too! It provides a GPS tracking device, an SOS button – and even a fake phone call for when you’re desperate to get out of a conversation!
