7 New Apps That Will Make Your Life So Much Easier

We’re busy, busy bees so it’s impossible to keep track of everything. You may remember at some point that you need to that thing tomorrow, but tomorrow comes and half the day has gone before you finally remember it. Career Girls need to be organized, but the truth is they like to be. Tracking their lives with apps, they’re the girls who don’t let anything slip away. They’re on top of everything, but they wouldn’t be without these apps:

1. Manage your money better

Breathe again with this app as it takes the hassle out of budget making for you. Just connect the app to your bank and it will create your own personalized budget. But don’t worry, it’s all totally safe. With Mint, I find that I’ve always got money left over, which is great when I finally get to put some away for a rainy day. Manage your money better with this app and download it here.

2. Stay clean

Ever feel like you do too much in your household? You’re always the one tidying up, and you feel like your flatmates are slacking off? That’s about to change. Ourhome saved my household and made my flatmates get their butts into gear. The app rewards you with points and rewards when you complete a task – there’s a competition going on in my flat (I’m winning). Download it here.

3. Keep up with your to-do lists

We’ve got the notebooks filled to the brim of our ever-growing lists, but Todoist helps get you organized. It’s clear, concise and prioritized. It’s much more accessible to pull out your phone, and tick as you go. Todoist is great because you can share tasks with people, and track progress and make comments to each other. Download it here.

4. Never miss a date

I know your phones come in with a built-in calendar, but they’re not the best to use. Download Calendars 5 and save yourself loads of time. It will notify you of all your events and keeps those important dates in the diary so you won’t forget. It’s as simple as typing lunch with Kate, and the app will schedule it in as an event and invite Kate from your address book! Makes being a Career Girl a little easier, huh? Download it here.

5. Prepare your meals

Being busy as we are it can be easy to just grab something quick after work. Planning our meals takes time and effort. But with this Mealime, it’s quicker and easier than ever before. An app that isn’t about the fuss, find quick meals that are easy to prepare and make so you don’t feel too guilty by splurging. Download yours here.

6. Track your fitness

Staying motivated to eat right, work out and just get through the work day is hard. But the Nike Fitness app will keep you motivated because you’ll be tracking your workouts and seeing your pay off. You’ll also be able to plan your workouts for later so you won’t ever miss a workout again! Download yours here.

7. Everything in one place

My ultimate favorite is Google Keeps because it keeps everything in one place. Use it to make lists, to note down that song to add to your playlist, use it for reminders or grocery lists – it’s all there. No fumbling around, all in one place and super fun to use! Download yours here.

Thanks for this! Love hearing about the lesser known apps. Definitely gonna give Mint a try as I’m saving up for traveling. This will help me out A LOT. It’s not easy doing it alone!

    Always loving your articles <3

I definitely recommend the Mint app! I’ve been using Mint for years and love it. It recently recommended the app Acorn, which rounds off your purchase and invests the round off automatically. I’ve fallen in love with it, too!

Google Keeps sounds like a digital version of a notebook! Perfect for a brain dump when I’m out and about…

I’m loving the sound of these apps! There is currently a change of housemates in my house but the OurHome app is defiantly something that I will talk to them about getting involved with.
